A tab or heading that stores all of the letsrun "greatest hits" threads/articles. Especially ones that deal with training. You could call it "required reading."
I mean maybe you’re that dedicated to the bit to go through the steps.
Are you having a stroke? What source? It takes 10 seconds to create an account here. About as long as it takes to switch your IP in a VPN, which trolls are already doing. You're out of your element, Donny.
Bro delete this. Out of your element.
So why is it such a big deal to require registration? I mean if your desperate to be a slap and just create multiple accounts through your 20 burner emails but it adds the extra step that stops 99% of people from being a jackass for no reason other than being one.

It would be nice if stop allowing the hateful posts from anonymous people. Your MB is full of libel posts and you continue to allow it to fill your own pockets

IF YOU STOP SWEARING AND CUSSING YOU AUTOMATICALLY CUT HATEFUL COMMENTS. EVERY TEACHER KNOWS THAT.

I would love to see the geniuses behind Letsrun take the leading in making/posting/curating a reasonable running calculator. Something along the lines of strnegthlevel.com. Specifically, if you run say a 29:59 10k when you are 25 year old male at 140lbs, what percentile would you be for your gender, age and weight. And, how does that compare to, say, rojo at 50 years old and 200lbs finally breaking a 3 hour marathon. My guess is that in terms of percentile of competitors a lot more 140lb 25 year olds are breaking 30mins in a 10k than 200lb 50-year olds but rather than myself or anyone speaking out of their rear ends I'd love to see some real numbers. Maybe let's run can hire some college runners to help them develop. That would be awesome.
Also, I like the long form articles. Please try to focus on then more. And, there is too much vitriol and ranting about trans issues. Yes, absolutely, egregious cases should be flagged and written about, but no need for an article and ten threads every day.
Calculate male/female ability in exercises like bench press, squat and deadlift. Compare your max lifts against other lifters at your bodyweight. Compete with friends.
Get rid of the troll always yapping about how LA and Southern California is the centre of track and field, and how AI and hi resolution cameras the size of your hand will make credentialed media obsolete & get outsourced to $1/hour workers in India and Pakistan. The troll also flaps his gums about how Nike pays off TrackTown, Citius, RunnerSpace, USATF, World Athletics, and their prolific use of interns, blah blah blah.
Blocking them sounds like a good solution but the problem is that certain posters, and they tend to be the same ones, take over a discussion, and in so doing, they effectively kill it.
So, what we are left with was a perfectly good discussion that has been rendered worthless and a waste of time. And blocking them still doesn't leave you a discussion worth following - they already ransacked it.
And it's asking too much for the moderators to keep deleting these types of comments.
Armstronglives destroys every thread he invades. The threads he's on would need a full time moderator just to keep him off.
Project Veritas snuck a camera into the LRC Mod Sweat Shop. Here is what they uncovered.

Because it removes a useful and dare I say defining feature of this forum (possibility of complete anonymity) for ZERO gain. Trolling is only bad when it's done in egregious ways by the worst offenders and this change will not affect them in any way.

Well you’re not really anonymous. They got your IP address and your email isn’t your social security number anyways. Dummy.
Again. Twitter is pretty anonymous. So not sure what you’re suffering anxiety over with signing up an account.

Figure out a way to ban Armstronglives and any other name he posts under.
I agree. We can't have people saying things you don't want to hear.
It's not that you say things people don't want to hear. It's that you say the same things over and over again, you repeat the same content several times on the same thread. You say the same things day after day. You are tiresome and repetitive.
Add to that the fact that you don't allow for a healthy discussion because you don't care about the discussion itself, you just care about being right. And when other people show you you are not right, you change the subject, you insult, you question their knowledge. I hope that cleared it for you.

If you think it right to ban those who make the same point again and again then you must ban most on the boards because few say something only once, especially on subjects such as running, training, doping and politics. By that token you need to ban yourself, since you will have posted several times on the same subject. If you respond to this you will have done just that.
But you have also just effectively confirmed my point, that what you and many other posters don't like is reading comments you don't agree with. This thread largely shows that.

In reality, the upvotes and downvotes feature is one of the more detrimental things on letsrun. It allows people to judge the poster on palatability and not the information.
I would like to believe that, as runners, we all have various knowledge at different levels and some people can derive different knowledge from different sources, even from people they don't get along with or aren't friends with.
By the voting feature, as I have seen, it has become fashionable to downvote certain people such as to say....no thank you, I'd rather hear the same information from someone I like. That's in a nutshell pretty juvenile and honestly helps nothing.
I sense some will downvote this because some men like to be contrary rebels and some like to be jerks, but I would like people to actually put thought into this.

Unsurprisingly, you just got down-voted. That's as much thought as anyone put into what you have just said.
What is crazy is that if the brojos were just a bit more competent, they could really make some cash on this place.
- Clean up the boards, get rid of all the race baiting and political nonsense. This will increase traffic and actually make the site a place people want to visit on a daily basis.
- Much better merch. The shirts currently being sold (besides the iconic yellow LRC shirt) I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing. Add some hats.
- You can add a couple small ad spots to the podcast without much worry but get rid of some of these terrible pop ups on the site.
Do those those three things and laugh your way to the bank.
