She won, actually. Leaned at the line to beat Kipyegon 14:32.29 to 14:32.31.
There are no Ws or Ls in heats, only Qs and qs.

Keni TCB. Not her best start, but she finished well, even hitting a hurdle late.
That was a close one! She almost celebrated after the race. Wouldn't have been good if she enjoyed herself.

Is there any bigger lock in any event than Rojas in TJ?
Crouser (though I guess hindsight makes this not much of a statement)

Yeah I know dude.
Amusan's start isn't going to cut it in the final.
Damn! Russell out after such a great start!!
Amusan pulled it out LATE.
Masai Russell has to get stronger. She always hits hurdles and cost her today

Why all the downvotes?? I just like Michelle...
Amusan 12.56. Last year she ran a WR in the semis…. Connect the dots.

Yikes, Emma.
Tough to square her saying she has been in great shape the last 3 years with her results.
Every athlete says that before the race. I'm bored of hearing about how they've had a great build-up, run the best workouts they've ever done, etc. It's total bluster and the proof is on the track.
Exactly. Today's respective results from Wayment and Coburn were no surprise.

Too bad, I thought she was going to kill it when she got out so well...

Not enough offal in the burritos ?
3 semi finals ever sounds right
The women PVers are flying tonight. Kennedy looks fantastic. Cleared 4.85 like it was nothing and has a clean card so far.
Good to see Moon get over 4.85 on her first attempt. It was looking a little shaky a few heights ago.
7 guys with sub 3:30 SBs in the final and slowest SB is 3:32.74, are those records?
What a hurdles semi. Williams was out like a shot! credit to Ali for closing it down.
Centro FTW
