Katir got broken the final 200 meters . . . and he's the next-best 1500 guy after Jakob I . . . which would suggest Jakob I could . . . could . . . also be broken at the end of a 12:40 race . . .
Jakob is 1.5s faster than Katir in 1500m. That could be enough to run 12:40.
What the hell are they talking about? Thye jsut said Kibiwott is the favorite? Why? Koech DOMINATED the kenyan trials.
I think losing the prior race doesn't eliminate you as a favorite. Mondo lost by 0.2m in the vault today, but should be the favorite at worlds despite being dominated today.
Pfffewww… the 5.000 is so so deep, can’t wait for worlds with Jakob in the field

Apart from now being the best distance runner, Jakob is also now the best preparer. Jakob more or less to the second, knows what time he will run nowadays. He is more talented and more mentally prepared than every other current runner.
He will break the 5,000m WR whenever he decides to go for it.
Also, Tim is the next best 1,500m behind Jakob. And there's a clear gap to the rest.
