I’ve been able to predict assistant firings for the past 10 years just by watching head coaches interactions with their assistants at meets. It’s very fun people watching. That is a good observation though how about if the HC doesn't interact with his/her staff at all outside of their event group year after year regardless of who the assistant coaches are and how their event group performs?

What if the assistant coaches stand off by themselves the whole meet and refuse to talk to anyone? Is that a sign they're quitting?
I always find it annoying when coaches try to act as some sort of guru off on their own, only to appear magically when the cameras come out.
Anyone have an update about the Colorado position? Saw a posting for recruiting coordinator. The "interim assistant coach" is a sports info guy. They wouldn't retain him as a coach would they? Doesn't seem like his bio fits all of the desires of the job description.
