No. There are no damages here. It would be thrown out as frivolous.

If he trespassed, so did every other spectator.
The playing fields are off limits in soccer or baseball. The cross country course is open. Thousands of spectators attended and were on the course while the competition took place.
This isn't how tresspass works at all. Also use a registered account instead of making the same point from multiple anonymous accounts.
This isn't how this works, the permission to cross the course so spectators can move to different parts of the meet does not grant permission for someone who did not qualify/register for the race to run in the race.

What evidence do you have the Sanchez was lying? they didn't overlap in high school. Kevin's word against the guy who bandited a state XC meet, I'm taking Kevin's until there is actual evidence he knew/interacted with Herbert.
I challenge you to find a law to back up your claim. You are correct that he shouldn't have done it but he didn't violate any laws.
When a roadrace has a bandit, the guy is morrally wrong but he isnt breaking the law. Same here.
The best YouTube on it so far.
Using the old bib and the high school jersey shows fraudulent intent, he knew he had to fake things to get into the race. He knew this wasn't allowed, hence he tried to blend in with the old jersey and the old bib.
I know this is Letsrun but I can't believe how many people are defending this guy.
I hear Marty Liquori, Ed Cheserek, and King99 are all jumping into the New Jersey Meet of Champs this weekend!
I haven't done the math yet, but how many of these defenses are from registered accounts? I have a suspicion that its just a person or two defending this guy and hopping onto different anon usernames to make it seem like more people support this tomfoolery.
Texas school trespass laws are already posted. This was a sanctioned school event. School trespass laws apply here.
Kids in that race had their race result ruined because a grown man, sub 4 minute mile runner, pushed the pace beyond what school kids can run.
If any kids get an overuse injury or fatigue syndrome in the next year or so, it could be traced back to this event.
The legal ramifications of this adult interference with sanctioned high sport could be endless.
Plus, the stigma and bad publicity of an adult dressing up as a school boy and joining in school sports competition won’t go away so easily.
Great point, I'm sure UIL has real reputational damages from this event. To address "Law Her" s claim earlier that there are no damages to sue for.
I haven't seen any posters supporting his actions. Saying he didn't break the law doesn't mean his actions were right. Alec Baldwin shot and killed a woman but has no charges filed against him. This kid's actions seem a bit less significant.

They didn’t know each other through high school. There’s a 620 Running Club right in between Lake Travis and Vande. Who benefited from this again?

There have been in my count 17 pro or at least defensive posts about Hebert in the last 24 hours, not a SINGLE one came from a registered account.
tx but why call a 23yo 'a college kid'?
