The headline to the story told me what had happened (engagement for them). Impossible to not read the headline, so THRUST upon me. Unfortunately I know some of the other stuff about them, because The Lovely Mrs. Flagpole and I do still watch SOME broadcast television, and once the thing we are watching is over, if we don't turn it off immediately, we end up hearing some of this celebrity news.

3) No secret obsessions. All of my obsessions are public...most cheeses, Sriracha, a GOOD vanilla bean ice cream, tower defense games, guitar and keyboards, parkour, HUGE biceps competitions (that I compete in), proper amounts of investing, righteousness, humility.

I have never heard of biceps competitions. Do you have pics? How much can you curl?
1) They are HUGE Biceps competitions.
2) Getting HUGE Biceps isn't about maxing out curls, it's about high weight and low reps (but still reps), so I have no idea.

Flagpole, I have credited you before with being right a lot (almost as much as me). But you are wrong on at least one and maybe two things.
1) I was pretty sure I was correct on this already, but did a google image search on "Jennifer Lopez no makeup" just to be absolutely certain. She's REALLY good looking, and if you don't agree, you are wrong and I feel a bit sorry for you.
2) If you actually do work on your biceps obsessively (I've been assuming this was a joke, every time you've mentioned it over the past couple of years), then you really should find a better way to come to peace with being in the lowest decile of adult male height.

1) Just because I comment about something doesn't mean I am "so interested" in it. I commented the other day that one of the neighbor kids looks like Alfalfa. Doesn't mean I'm all that interested in it.
