Here's food for thought. If Shacarri Richardson decided to fight her positive PED test results by claiming that it was someone else's blunt and that she was a victim of second hand smoke/contact high, everyone here would have agreed that it was a lame defense just like claiming that you had TMZ, L-Carnitine, and Hypoxen in your system from sipping out of Grandpa's dirty water glass.
It may be that CAS took knowledge of the fact that as a protected person, even if she fails a drug test, she may be subject to no sanction.
It might also be that she had a medical issue that warranted the heart medications. It's all speculation for us. Nobody knows.
WE know she didn't take it because of a medical condition. YOU don't know because you are being purposely blind to the facts.
The Russian officials have already claimed that their excuse for why she tested positive is because her grandfather supposedly takes that medicine and they also claim that she supposedly accidently injested his medication.
Stop posting nonsense and go read some articles about this situation to educate yourself.
So I, a US citizen, should be happy a Russian lost which allowed a Russian to win?
Didn't you see Kamila dejected and crying after her performance? You won! Take your victory lap! That's a 15-year old girl you just destroyed. This is that you live for. What a glorious day!

You didn't answer my question because you don't have an answer. You just keep repeating the same thing over and over.

Let me try to educate you. There were three heart medications in Kamila's A-sample (B-sample has not been tested). Two of the three were non-banned and known to all: Kamila explicitly declared those medications for some heart issue at the time the sample was taken in December. The third substance was banned and we don't know how it got into her system. That is the one her legal team suggested to the press could have been ingested accidentally. But, we don't know what was discussed at the CAS hearing because none of that has been released. All we know is the CAS thought the explanation was plausible enough to let her skate.

She didn't take accidentally his medication. Many drugs need to be cut in half, and when you cut it some very small amount of it can remain on table(even not visible with eye), and after that you can put for example bread on this table, eat it and you will have it in your body. Because of that concentration in drug test was so small and other tests was clean

Wut? She shouldn’t have been allowed to complete at all. Adults just making it worse all around. The only people that destroyed her doped her up in the first place. Pretty bad look for Russia all around.
She failed a drug test. Like Ben Johnson did. So I wonder what "information" CAS has that changes that. I doubt it was a "kissing" excuse.
It would appear the CAS is leaning on "due process" as the sole reasoning. According to Sports Illustrated a sample drawn on Dec 25 while she skated at the Russian national championships was not tested until Feb 8, thus Valieva has not had time to defend herself and apparently there hasn't been enough time to test the B sample.
Honestly, with Russia proven guilty of systematic use and cover-ups of PEDs (I believe that most countries have athletes that use, but that's another issue all by itself) I don't get why not testing samples for 6 weeks on the doorstep of the Olympics is OK. EVERY Russian athlete should be barred from competition. All of them. This is complete and utter nonsense. And there is nothing to defend in the case of Valieva. Because of the recent issues with PED use, EVERY Russian athlete would have to walk the straight and narrow. Unless you are an apologist, this is a pretty clear case of someone trying to skirt or break the rules.
She is 15 and can’t give consent to what she is fed esp without her knowledge.I think the CAS panel are minded of this.

You assume she was doped.
It doesn’t matter. Doping is a strict liability, if it is in your system you broke the rules and should be barred from competition. That is how this has worked in ever other situation. It is just in this case Russia doesn’t care about anti doping and will do whatever it wants to circumvent the system.
Outside of that, the grandpa excuse is totally ridiculous.

She is 15 and can’t be held responsible for what her parents feed her.
Nor is she deemed legally competent to sign a contract.
Outside of that, the grandpa excuse is totally ridiculous.
There's only a few possibilities. 1) Her grandpa's medications somehow tainted her test sample. 2) The drug seeped into system from multivitamins, or some other innocent source (this happened before with American athletes). 3) She really was cheating and her grandpa just so happened to be taking the same heart medication she was cheating with. Number 3 seems like quite a coincidence to me. Number 2 and Number 1 exonerate her.
Doesn't really matter now. She was crucified her before she had a chance to defend herself.

You are making an assumption that her grandfather is telling the truth about taking the same medication.

Possibility number 4: Kamila is cheating and her grandfather lied about taking the medication.
That could be. It seems more likely than number 3. But part of the evidence submitted to the CAS was a video from her grandfather with a packet of that medication. So he would have to be lying AND somehow have a sample of the drug on hand.

With several days notice of the CAS hearing, it would have been easy for the ROC to fabricate a story, coerce Grandpa's cooperation, and have a pharmacy provide a prescription for Gramps to hold up for the camera. This is Russia for crying out loud! A place where people fall onto six bullets at the bottom of an elevator shaft, shoot themselves in the head before locking themselves in a car trunk, fall out of a conveniently open 7th story apartment window despite the temperature being -15 that day, or have the bad luck to eat a bowl of borscht with a dose of plutonium in it.
