Anyone else find it ironic that the Supreme Court is hearing arguments today on vaccine mandates at the same moment in time that vaccines are largely failing to stop transmission? The only justification for vaccine mandates is protecting others. With transmission occurring between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals at a comparable rate, there is no valid reason for mandates at this point.

The mandates are only about control, but it is funny that the vaccines are being proven to be less effective than ever right now.

Yeah, let's get everyone fired from their private sector jobs if they don't get jabbed every 6 months. Let's make it illegal for them to enter privately owned restaurants and businesses too. Let's force them to be unemployed and under house arrest because they didn't want a mildly effective experimental vaccine against a mild illness

Vaccinated case rate in the UK is 40% higher than unvaccinated case rate (among working age adults from 18-69, it is 94% Higher). Vaccinated case rate in Ontario is 30% higher than unvaccinated. Two shot effectiveness at this point for most vaccinated Americans against Omicron has declined to about zero. If vaccines were working, there would not be huge spikes like we are seeing given the large share of the population that has either been vaccinated or previously infected.
Justices electively chose to get vaccinated of their own free will (they were fully vaccinated before there was a federal mandate, and no federal mandate requires boosters). What they chose to do of their own free will has no bearing on the case before them. There is no restriction on workers getting vaccinated or boosted (unless they are under 5 years old or 12 years old for boosters). Vaccines and boosters only offer limited protection to individuals. In general they do not protect others. Omicron is making that readily apparent.

I've been to British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan. Love it up there. Young people getting vaccines has little impact on hospitalizations. With respect to Omicron, masking is far more effective than vaccination at mitigating spread. Why are you so against masking?

HOUSTON – A mother has been charged after her 13-year-old son was found in the trunk of her car at a Cy-Fair ISD drive-thru COVID testing site, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office confirmed.
Sarah Beam has been charged with endangering a child. Cy-Fair ISD Police Department said a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
According to court documents, on Jan. 3, Beam pulled into the drive-thru testing site located at 11355 Falcon Road in northwest Harris County, when a witness reported hearing something in the trunk. The witness said when Beam unlatched the trunk, the boy was found lying down inside.
Court documents said the witnesses told Beam she would not receive a COVID test until the child was removed from the trunk and placed in the back seat of the vehicle. The witness then called police.
Beam allegedly told authorities her son had tested positive for COVID-19 and she was taking him to the site for additional testing. In order to protect herself from being exposed, Beam decided to put the boy in the trunk of the car.

Which masks? A properly fitted N95 works. The rest don't. Science has shown us this.
