who do yall think had the mort potential btwn the 3 high schoolers? Whittaker, Willis or Gorriran
Willis has the most potential. Whittaker is limited in the 800 by her short, heel striking, shuffle stride.
Gorriaran is pretty good, but I think that Willis has more speed and more potential.
Whittaker reminds me of a younger Ajee’. Her heel striking isn’t good, but her sister did run 51.x in the quarter so you know she has good genes for speed. Willis has an Olympian mother iirc, so her ceiling is already pretty high too. Gorriaran always surprises me, we’ll see how she develops.
TIme qualifiers in 5ks is a joke. I retweeted this.
im scared too. in 7th rn, so hopefully he'll be okay.
Teare will be fine

After actually having proper heats in the women's 800, what is everybody thinking for the Olympic team?
I've got Ajee Wilson, Athing Mu, and Hanna Green edging out Chanelle Price and Raevyn Rogers. Anybody think Hurta or Mayer have a chance too?
I think Ajee Wilson and Athing Mu are in, barring any weird accidents.
3rd place will be interesting. She hasn't been looking that great, but I'm still going to go with Raevyn Rogers edging out Hanna Green.
Hurta and Meyer won't finish top 3, and in any case, I don't think that they will get the Olympic standard of 1:59.50
Heath makes it to the finals!
Jenkins, Fisher, Kincaid, Teare, Heath. Erassa with the OLY STD dead last - must be injured or something.
Awesome kick by Heath, glad to see him move on.
Heath to the final! Old legs still got it.
How would you catch him?

He has the sprint form of an old man, haha!
Lalang off the back? Did he give up when he missed the break?

He looked horrible the entire race. Looked like he was going all-out when they were going 13:50 pace.
Raven Saunders just set a Trials Record in the shot, 19.96 (65'6"), #2 in the world this year
If this next heat can keep it honest, every one but one would get through.

That Fisher has a snooty look...if he came into our neighborhood we'd have to beat him up.
He really does. With Kincaid, they seem like the villains of a teen movie. Super smooth though. Love watching it.
Oh who is this legend going for the world record?
Chelimo looks cold.

Yeah, actually all 11 of them could get through since there's a DNS. So if you're in this heat you basically just have to time trial a 13:45 and you're in.
