Masters star Kevin Castille - whom many LRCers thought was on drugs - is banned for testing positive for a steroid

I don't think he is allowed back in Louisiana so no way he would be allowed to coach in Louisiana

He's coaching, but he is not coaching at a high school. He's just a personal trainer. Most of the runners that he is training are from the Central Louisiana area. I found this information out by looking at his Instagram page and doing some research on Milesplit.

He is in the Baton Rouge area coaching. Apparently there was an issue with him and a runner he coached in Lafayette Louisiana some time back and he was not welcomed back. He will forever be know as a cheater! We will never know if he was just a local champ or something more. He took prize money from athletes who probably would have beat him if it wasn't for his cheating. As a master this makes me sick! And to this day people, although few, say," good job Kevin, your the best there ever was". The best cheater that is! He should pay back some of his money to a fast fellow from the ATC Track Club or a few Cal Coast Track Club who would have destroyed him clean. He was on every PED possible when he was winning!

And the problem with testing at races is that masters runners who are doping know where testing happens and either stop taking for a few weeks before the race or they go to a different race where there is no testing.

IMHO, masters records shouldn't be kept if there is no random testing. There should be a system where runners who think they are in the position to break a masters AG record have to agree to enter a random drug testing pool like the pros do.

But we all know this is not going to happen. So, stop keeping masters records.

Ok. I agree with you. By the Central Louisiana area, I mean the Alexandria and Pineville area. Most of the runners he is training or coaching are from that area, but I am not sure if he lives there. The Instagram page that he has and the results from Louisiana Milesplit of the high school teams that his runners are competing for proves everything that I said.

Something has to change with drug testing, not just for running but for all sports as well, and at any age and level. Everyone in the world should have a universal policy on drug testing and do it on a regular basis for every athlete. I am very angry at the athletes in all sports that are taking drugs and PEDs, getting away with doing it, and are successful in the sport(s) that they are playing because they lessen the visibility of the athletes that are working hard and doing the right things because the athletes that are working hard and doing the right things are usually not as successful as the people who cheat by taking drugs and PEDs and get away with doing it.

Mostly coaching kids in Alexandria area. They families are probably not aware of his past transgressions. drug dealing, doping, and inappropriate behavior.
