Cheruiyot, Keitany, and Kosgei (twins) all have had multiple kids and and returned to WMM championship level. Most of them have 2-3 adopted kids too. Seems common for successful adults in Kenyan to adopt extended family's children.

Apparently God decided it wasn't in His plan to have her make the team.

Not making fun of anyone here, but that is in line with her beliefs, so that's the answer. End of thread.

If she identifies as having birthed 3 children, we should be inclusive and respect that.

There is no excuse for her, trains at high altitude and knew the course was hilly, so I assume where she lives there are an abundance of hills to train on. Makes no sense that she could not at least finish, even if it would have been 10-15th place. Only thing I can think of is when she could not go with the break she dropped out so she can come back and run a Spring Marathon.
