Now I know why oversized indoor track results are not record eligible.

Honestly we just need some officials under the age of 65 to officiate these meets. These things would happen a lot less if some some brains that have seen a lot less alcohol were in charge.

Who cares? Distance medley is the most pointless event. It always just comes down to the mile anyway.
Pointless? Unless you're the guy not getting to go to nationals. I think you'd have a different perspective if you were to look at it like that.
Meh. From a guy who used to run the 400, I hate seeing that the 400 leg makes no difference whatsoever in that race.

It's not like people are lined up outside the UW track office waiting to volunteer.
The dmr is happening again pretty soon. We will see what happens. Will they have the energy to race again?
byu 10:54 wash 10:56 surprisingly that should get both teams into ncaa

Impressive perseverance by both teams, and those times if accurate should DEFINITELY get them in, as BYU's time would have been the fastest qualifying time last season, and Washington's would have been #3.

Lol BYU set a new school record, top time in the country. Nice try.

Nobody cares. It’s easy when you have two tries.

Teams can try as many times as they like. And yeah, it's indoor track...not exactly the superbowl. But still so glorious that 24 hours ago the OP was elated UW and BYU had been misled by an official.

You have to admit that it was at least a little bit entertaining to watch.

I usually skip threads that have “go home devastated” in the title. I completed the eighth grade decades ago.
Sorry you’re old and worn out looser

Plenty of opportunities to sign yourself up. Make a difference. Become an official.
There are definitely plenty of opportunities but it is obviously easier for retired people to volunteer for track. Does anyone else remember when that Stanford Invite official walked in front of the elite 1500m heat pacer and got knocked onto his back?
There may have been many people upset thanks to the hand off snafu, but wherever there is loss... there is victory.... And that victory goes to Cal women who ended Friday as the 11th fastest DMR team in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!! Way to Go Bears!!
golden bears are not getting the golden ticket to ncaas with that jogfest
Bumb this bitach
