I think it's funny when people on here brag about not being on social media. LR is 10 times worse.
Can you explain how LR is "ten times worse" than social media (let's say Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)?
So much trolling and negativity. People are complaining about people happy that they got a run done. That's so terrible? You can't post on here without 20 people calling you names, correcting spelling, or something else negative.
Then there's the slipshod manner this board is moderated.
In my last race, I bumped an IG runner off the podium. His 1:1X PR was faster than I ran that day, but when I looked him up on IG, I saw he had run that not in a race, but on a treadmill. Ha ha on him.
Then again, he's got a pro sponsor and I don't, so ha ha on me.

It seems like it’s cool these days for runners on instagram, announcing to the world with a sweaty selfie that they ran 8 miles at 8 minute pace every day.
I just completed a reverse ladder on the treadmill .
6 minutes at 9mph
5 minutes @ 10 mph
4 minutes @10.5 mph
3 minutes @ 11>
2 minutes @ 11.5
1 minute @ 12.5
Incline @ 3 % .
I do not do yoga , but for some reason bought a yoga mat in 2014 .
I ran today as well. Sorry no pic but I wanted to tell everyone.
vanity used to be a vice
now it's considered a virtue

Welcome to 2015.
Seriously, did you just get a smartphone? This is not new.
I have a yoga mat too. I don’t know why. It might have been left at my house by an ex girlfriend. I put it under the treadmill so I guess you can say I use the yoga mat every time that I use the treadmill.
Btw. I ran this morning.
Guess what everyone I ran today 5 miles at 8:30 pace. Y’all want me to send a sweaty selfie also.
I make 6 figures a year and I’m married to a hot super model. If I took selfies after every run chances are I’ll probably still be a virgin.

I like the details. The more details the better.
Seriously why are there so many complaints about instagram models or runners? Lol nobody’s forcing these morans to follow them.

I want to see a dictators olympics. It would be off camera and everyone would win so the world would mock them for being participation trophies because everyone’s a winner and got them.
No.

We’re gonna need pics of the wife, please.
more like 3 miles every second or third day at 9 minutes per mile, and a '6 mile long run' at 10 minutes per mile once a week
you can try the Mike Rossi way. Send e-mail to anyone who dares to be happy about any run.
Can we at least have a link to this persons IG page?
8@8 is a decent run
I understand the rage as I sometimes feel the same. Actually this just your ego. Your ego is hurt that some hobby jogger who haven't put in a fu*k of a work are showing off in IG for their 25 minute 5k while you are training hard daily and no one gives a sh*t about your 15:xx 5k PB that came after months and months of crazy training. At one point I was so pis*ed that I just deleted most of my social accounts. And guess what it helps. Once there is no audience to perform for you don't need to constantly advertise yourself and best of all you don't see those who advertise and crave attention. The goal is for you to become irrelevant and hence free of that sh*t. I am now training for the sake that I like to feel improvement. My ego is still longing to come out one day on the race line and to leave in dust all those pricks LOL
