The Girls are going to have a pretty messy course left to them. Even saw spectators going down as they were trying to run to & from vantage spots
These conditions look way more brutal than it was last year and the year before.
Phenomenal run from Nico! Love seeing pure grit front running. Let's see if Tuohy will follow suit.
Let's hope the girl's race is more interesting. Great run by Nico Young, wasn't expecting that level of dominance with the best in the nation assembled...

Grover died badly. Finished 21st I think. Sprout had a bad race, got beat by Ohlson. Schoppe died, finished 15th.

So much for CA runners being at a disadvantage in wet conditions.
results show a runner moving up 156 spots in last mile to finish #26th....4:41 last split to Nico Young's 5:22.
Grover still All-American I believe. By .06 seconds. Nobody else within the top 40 had as slow of a final 1.1 miles. I am still impressed with his final result though. Also, were the live results wrong, or did Victor Anchondo actually close the last 1.1 miles in 4:41 to move up 156 places and finish 26th. They had him at 5:12 at the mile and 10:55 at the 2 mile. Seems fishy.
Where did methner finish?
Sub 8:30 for young this year?
