Hasay is so fit but not healthy enough to run the Chicago marathon beyond 5k?

I do agree that the timing of Hasay's post is weird.
Honestly, I've tried to keep an open mind when it comes to NOP-ers who were there when the program was disbanded. But I'm so over Jordan. The ENTIRE running community is showing their support to Cain, including Nike athletes. Not only does Jordan ignore Cain's story-she posts the next day about her OWN recovery, as if Cain doesn't even exist. She always seemed nice, but I think that this move was so cold, mean-spirited and aloof, I don't really think I can root for her anymore.
Now you want real shade?? Go to Shalane's latest post. She talks about how Cain had no "female role models" at NOP. Total shade, and frankly the NOP female athletes deserve it from the GOAT.
The NOP girls operate as if they have the mindset of athletes, not the mindset of "girls."

This.
Hasay's post seems self-centered and cruel. But I first became disappointed in her behavior back when she was in college and would cry every time she didn't run well. Grow up.

Who is Ablerto?
Suitably enough, O. Poster meant a brand of beef jerky: "Oh Boy Oberto"
Jordan should take this post down.

I see it as a dig on Mary!

I'm a long time fan of Hasay so I'm biased. She could do almost anything and I would still love her. That being said, her social media is a public relations team-curated front. I would actually be surprised if she directly manages her Insta account. If you want to see a glimmer of the real Hasay, listen to her podcasts. But it's just a glimmer and she only reveals positive aspects of her life. It would be the most shocking thing I've seen in running if she came out with negative experiences while being coached by NOP. If she had them, she won't tell. I still love her. She's like a mysterious running fairy/goddess. The only other runner I can compare her to in beauty and intrigue is Tirunesh Dibaba.
Agree that Shalane is GOAT and like how she supported Mary,
But she might want to be careful. Lots of women have complained about the focus of weight on her team among elite racing.

Most people don't use social media for personal communication. We have no idea what is being communicated between the two beyond what is on Twitter and Instagram. Most people would probably call or text a former teammate instead of voicing their support on Twitter.
I'm not saying for sure that Hasay is being supportive of Cain, but there's also really no basis for assuming that she is not.
Regardless of whether or not she reached out privately, it’s tasteless to post something the next day that doesn’t even acknowledge what happened.
She was very quick to make a post the following day after Alberto’s ban (basically supporting him), so I’m not surprised she hasn’t said anything about this yet. Although I do agreee acknowledging it to some extent would look better, even if means saying (like Rowbury) that she isn’t ready to talk about it yet. I don’t think her post was a shot at Cain, I honestly think she was giving an update on her injury since she hasn’t posted since Chicago. Just really bad timing. From following Jordan for years she seems like the type of person who doesn’t want to stir controversy, so she either plays everything off as positive or she doesn’t say anything at all.

Tasteless? That’s certainly subjective but perhaps.
Her whole IG appears to just be focused on her training. Doesn’t seem to be a dig at Mary Cain at all. She seems focused on herself.
This entire thread is sensationalizing this post to create unnecessary drama.

The diabolical beauty of this soap opera is that no statement can be made by anybody involved without it being seen as a dig or a ding against another. It's like a perfectly balanced dystopia of finger pointing.

Clearly, there are 2-3 ladies on her team that include constant posts about food. It's not a good sign.
I don't see what the big deal is does Hasay work with Julian like every other NOP runner. At least that is what we have been led to believe

Agreed. She should have called Mary out for being ungrateful and unwilling to take responsibility for her life by blaming and hating. It’s not a good example for young people.

Yet she’s not blaming anyone or making personal attacks. That’s crazy!!!
Never met Mary Cain, but I have met Hasay and her parents- some creepy vibes there. Met Alberto "brown aura" Salazar too, even saw him handing unmarked white jars of "supplements" to Rupp back in 2005-6.
Also met Kara and Adam, lovely people who I'd have no reason to doubt.
I see no reason not to believe Cain at this point.
Why is weight such the focus on women athletes when it is not on men? Salazar, now, that is a different story. But usually the assumption is that the men have it under control and that their muscle makes up for any additional weight. In women runners, I recall both thin and medium-sized runners doing very well in high school and college.
