Grant Fisher has a degree from Stanford University. He has a brighter future.
His performances are outstanding but he is not the most interesting runner. He's just too perfect in every way. All-American Stanford boy with the wholesome lovely family, tons of academic achievements, always says the right thing and is upbeat, always positive and realistic.
What T&F needs is controversy, runners like Drew that will stick to his coach no matter what, does crazy things like "not doing an MRI on foot because I don't wanna know how bad it is" or increasing mileage from 70 to 85 quickly to get "in shape" for a race. Drew's parents are XC coaches in HS, far from being a rich family, that guy is living the dream whereas Fisher's career was predestined.
Look what tennis has - Kournikova drama, S Williams big performance peaks/declines, trick shoter like Monfils and Kyrgios, BIG 3 rivalry, Djokoving vs fans episodes, etc. All of this gives constant attention to the sport, we need such personalities in T&F and not more Fisher's.
From start to finish, the worst take Ive ever seen on Letsrun.
