Dude, nobody is asking how old you are, what your diet is like now, how many miles a week are you running, what type of training you are doing now. If you are a high school or college kid, purposely cutting calories while you are training for better performance will make you weaker, gain fat, lose muscle and your performance will be worse. You are already very light. I bet you are a young runner because an older more knowledgeable runner wouldn't ask this question. You have some pretty good race times, so I highly doubt that you have a lot of extra fat on your quads and glutes. You probably don't have an ounce of fat on the rest of your body. The only fat stores your body has now are your glutes and the fat that protects your inner organs. If you have been running a lot of distance for cross country, then your body is getting close to as lean as you are going to get and still be healthy. You should consider doing strength training. I'm not talking about body building and trying to put on muscle for the sake of looking good with your shirt off. Which is next to impossible if you are running hard. I'm talking about strength training for runners. This is functional strength that will increase your power output and make you faster. When I was running XC and track in high school it was hard to eat enough calories to stop me from losing weight and strength. You need to do the basics. Make sure you are eating enough protein, carbs and good fats. If you don't then your testosterone and growth hormone levels will drop. So first things first. How old are you?
