Another humble brag post about how your HR is low af. The thing is that in your case your heart is likely doing whacky unhealthy stuff if it’s 27-28, this can be the result of Atrial Fib or your heart skipping beats.
It is not even good to have a heart rate high 20s as it can cause you to have to have a pace maker later in life.

You are extremely uneducated, it’s not common for D1 athletes to have a resting HR of high 20, the word record also isn’t 15.
Not rare to find endurance athletes in high 20's.
Can't find track of it but heard in an interview a few years ago that the best apneists had some of the slowest HR.
Guillaume Nery (world record holder in apnea) reported having a HR around 21 at rest, after all these years of training his body to be super efficient, mainly working on pulmonary capacity.
I’ve been under 40 in the past and around 45 now. When I sit motionless, I can see my heartbeat shaking my shirt. Do you have any other circulation issues? My hands are always cold and can stay purple for hours after a cold run in the winter. Good times having a heart more powerful than 99% of the human population.
My buddys was 0 for a bit. Guinness delivered the plaque and everything.
You sound like an idiot. The lowest ever recorded heart rate in a healthy alive human was 25 bpm by a biathlete who’s won Gold multiple times. All these claims about people having a heart rate in the low 20’s or under 20 is complete bs! Show the documentation

Thats a pretty normal heart rate for an endurance runner/cyclist with muscle mass. 26 - 40 bpm is standard. Youre not dying. Mine is 30. You probably have a decent sprint speed and decent distance speed.
My lowest was 36, and was 40 to about age 55. It's 46 at age 59. My max has been measured as 210, 212, and 216 at age 50, 51, 52 after sprinting the final 800 meters of a hilly 10 mile race.

It's individual. Coe had low 28's, whereas Webb had mid 20's. Jim Ryun never had lower than 55s, with most tests being in the low 60s (Daniel's).
There are slow 16 min 5k runner with resting RHR at 30 and then some 13 min 5k runners with same RHR.
What would be more relevant in terms of fitness is the recovery heart rate - El Guerrouj was known to be able to run a 800m rep in 2:00, and 1 min later he would be down to 65 bpm. A less fit runner might still be at 150 HR 1 min after a 2:15 800m rep at his 3-5k pace.

I frankly do not care about how this is related to running performance at all. I’m not posting for those who are speculative of my honesty. I’m simply stating it as a fact. I did see a cardiologist hence I had a holter put on and professionally examined test results. The lowest ever recorded heart rate was of Martin Fourcade at 25bpm. Guinness has the record at 27 bpm because nobody who’s gone under 27 has submitted their application. For those who are saying your heart rate is mid 20’s or even under 30, you’re full of it. There have only been a couple people in the world to dip under 30. Regarding my running potential, I broke 4:00 in the mile indoor at one of the UW meets.
I also had a heart holter and my RHR was 28 beats per 61 seconds. I'm sorry that your heart rate was so much higher than mine, but I'm pretty sure it's because I'm Keto, Vegan, and I identify as hismgx/hersngx and my pronouns are Hmgrnx/Thrnsgx and my title as Mrgsngx. And I'm not religiously anti-gluten, it mostly doesn't feel right to me. To brag about that IMHO.
I also had a holter. I also am not impressed. And yes there are thousands of sub 30 heart rates. You must not be aware of even one small article about heart rate in sports science. Look at resting heart rates of tour de france riders, pro nordic skiiers, pro runners You are nothing special. Just another hair on a ballsack

"Let it be known" that 4x Tour De France winner, Miguel Indian, recored 28. Mine's 28? Where's the thousands of heart rates under 30? Could I win Tour de France?
