RW have sponsored the Blue mile, SLO marathon, City to Sea half, HOKA/SBCC elite mile, SBCC elite last chance 1500/5k. They do their bit.

Never felt they tried to establish a monopoly or undercut competition. They did offer discounts not offered by others, clearance prices, and free 2 day shipping and return shipping. Shipping had to be expensive even if they had UPS discount. Felt their marketing was adequate - 95% of runners know about RW.

My experience with their customer service was super. As a very long time customer, my concern is RW not providing a more informative explanation of the elimination/reduction of discounts.

Other long time customers may remember about 7 plus years ago or more, RW had a fraud issue with the discount codes. Some hackers devised a way to receive double credit using the codes. It was resolved but not sure of their loss. Many possible issues in enterprise.

Purchased a couple of things today - discount was still Club 15%. They have already shipped (well, order will go out tonight) and I will receive on Thursday. It is always a 2-day delivery to my house and I live in a mid-west rural area.

I moved on from Running Warehouse.

Recently I found great deals on Ascics.com after I signed up for their emails.

I can imagine other companies do the same thing.

Just do like I did, head to the local running store and get a part time gig. I still have my regular full time job, but I just go in there like 1-2 evenings a week and get to chat sh*t with runners, pick up some spare change for it, and get shoes for 30% off. I even get access to Expert Voice, which means like half off some brands.

I used to like that guy's channel when he was just starting out, but now that it's gone for a while, he's just making typical vanilla monetizable youtube garbage. Every review is the same, says a bunch of stuff without saying anything at all, throws his dumb catchphrases around, and tries to clickbait everyone with the girls in his videos.

I'm not an elitist when it comes to running, but he's more a Youtuber who makes running shoe videos, rather than a runner that makes Youtube videos. It's all backwards. I just mean I have a hard time believing he's putting the shoes he reviews through all the paces, so the credibility suffers, and it's probably why all his reviews are generic and sound the same.
