What was everyone’s progression in the mile/1600m in high school? It would be interesting to hear.

I didn't start running until my senior year of XC. Before that I played soccer.
6th grade 4:45
7th grade 4:34
Came in with a 5:52 PR
5:14-first race of 9th grade
5:13-2nd to last race of 9th grade
5:06-1st race of 10th grade then got injured
4:56-early in 11th grade season
4:41-2nd to last race of 11th grade
4:35-1st race of 12th grade
Ran a 4:39 in one other race senior year, outside of that my third fastest was a 4:49 in the first mile of a 3200. Was definitely a big choker at the mile and did not discover my two mile potential until the last 4 weeks of senior year, but it was good.
5:08 in freshmen PE class
4:30 soph 1st year of track 25-30 mpw
4:12 junior after discovering weekly long run, 45 mpw
4:10 senior, 50mpw, small improvement but consistently ran 4:10-4:12 all season
4:38 freshman year
Sophomore year-Covid and didn’t race
Junior year- 4:15
Senior year- loading
