Pole Vaulting is a rich kid event, they will have their parents spend money on the new Puma mondo shoe just because they can. After their Private coach practice, Mom will get the Escalade pointed in the right direction and get the kid home to order the shoes on Amazon Prime and money in the bank for Puma.

From a European point of view , the south Dakota Boys are completly unknowned, while Mondo is the rising star not only of Pole Vault but of T&F in its whole, like Bubka has been

The fact that he is a Swede is a positive. We have few athletics stars and it is nice to have Mondo. The paper in Stockholm still creates articles when our athletes compete at home and abroad.
