You're the reason track and field is perpetually dying in popularity. Let me guess...you complain every time we have a polarizing athlete that makes comments that are entertaining to most, but may be interpreted as egotistical.

This is advice from a loser right here. Everyone knows that it’s an eat or be eaten alpha game. You need to stay on a roll taking scalps and keep slaying bigger prey. The whole being timid head down keep working hard bull$hit isn’t going to earn him a paycheck. Attention and incredible feats will do it though.

Come on this response was hilarious. Granted the odds of them racing is about zero. Even without the NCAA issues, there would be way to much quibling about rules (on track, on the field in cleats, start rules,...).

Of course what would have been really funny would have been bolt tweeting "Lets make it 100k".

Why would getting more publicity be a bad thing? Especially if the kid wants to go pro. He’s already gained nearly 15,000 followers in Twitter from this past season. That’s more money making opportunities for him.

If he does want to run in the NCAA, would this effect that? Could he donate his ‘winnings’ to charity or work something out so that his parents get the money?

Also, pretty big comedian Theo Von is apparently a big fan of Boling’s and has offered to offer up the money on Boling’s part as per his Twitter.

I think I read when Ted Ginn Jr. was a high school junior to his years at Ohio State, he was a 46 or 47 400m man? I do not care about Ginn Junior's 40 yard dash performance at NFL Combine many years ago. I doubt Ginn Jr. can race a FAT sub-11 100m now. There is no way Ginn Jr. can race FAT sub-10.75 100m now.

Gotta agree with you here. Outside out bolt, I can’t imagine the general population can name 2 or 3 sprinters.

Meanwhile, everyone who has played fantasy football in the last 15 years knows who Ginn is. He was a college football star too.

yes. when runners say what is the difference between sprinters and distance runners this is it. Distance runners with hs hype wilt like flowers with over thinking.
