What is interesting is the Haile Resort is located in Hawassa. That is a good three hour drive from Addis not has high altitude and no track. WTF , also the pool has NO heat when I was there.

And really, like this is any shock to him? A dude with a lot of money had some items stolen while in Africa? Imagine that?

Can't he just buy a new watch and move on? Surely he can afford one. You'd think any watch company would jump on the opportunity to just give him one to wear everyday. The whole thing seems weird to me.. either Mo is a total baby and needs to grow up.. or he's a total baby and needs to grow up.

Why wouldn’t he lock it up or put it in a safe? Take some responsibility Mo. You are coming off as a spoiled brat. Don’t publicize the theft. Go buy another watch or whatever.

A bank robber has been allowed to claim the cost of a pistol used in a hold-up as a legitimate business expense.

Not to mention a hotel is typically not responsible for lost or stolen items here in the US. It is posted in rooms and what not. Not sure why he would think it would be different in Ethiopia.

Really hard to take Mo's side on this. Haile is one of the most respected personalities in the history of running. Mo's handling of this grievances have been really childish.

Meta point: If someone is unethical in some areas of life, it's reasonable to think he is in other parts of life.
