Reebok no longer sponsors Zap

Hopefully they get a better sponsor since Reebok is a joke. I don't know anyone who wears Reebok..

If a National record doesn't garner any publicity then sponsoring Canadians is a waste of money. Reebok is really a joke in this world.

This is true. As all of the Nike groups and NB Groups and Hansons have produced Olympians. However, what American Olympians will this new group produce? All countries are not equal and producing a Canadian Olympian is not the same.

Give them 14 years like zap had and they'll probably produce at least 1 american olympian. Zap has just been an utter failure, the training sucks and they can't even attract talent. Even hobby joggers turn down zap and would rather run unsponsored.

Reebok made a smart move, and zap will have a better partnership with lululemon or fruit of the loom or whoever they are getting to sponsor them now to produce mediocre athletes.

There is another distance project in Pawtucket RI right? Isn’t Pawtucket, “the bucket” RI in a terrible area? How can you pursue a career in running doesn’t work out in “the bucket?”

That is an amazing read. I bet the entire running division from Reebok will be fired with 3-5 years. My local running store carries ON but says they will never carry REEBOK again because the product is weak.

This entire argument will be decided at the market place. It has nothing to do with a successful training group.

I am happy to see that Coach Fox will be coaching again. I know that he has done very little of that over the past 5 years at the Cuse. The success at Syracuse has been some excellent assistants.

You mean you've never wondered what will happen if someone shifts "a certain speed" between 300m and 250m out??? One of life's big mysteries. I'm glad they dumped ZAP so we can finally get to the bottom of it.

So you think Justyn Knight would go with a coach that doesn’t actually coach, with a shoe sponsor that doesn’t make good shoes? Lol. You think his options were that limited. Sounds like you’re misinformed, didn’t read the article or are just dumb.
