This is such a bs thread. The first column of that table totally negates the second column. Her first half time is barely within ten minutes of the men's slowest first half, and she was still at least 4 minutes behind any of them at the finish. Vipam can keep wanking over those apples and oranges he's comparing. I checked the splits for the guy whose time was nearest to Mary's, his first 5k was three minutes faster than hers. So while these guys were racing the first half the race, the ladies were jogging through. I'm not saying Mary didn't run a fabulous race, just stop comparing the men's and women's races.

Her performance would be the equivalent of a about 1:08:38-1:00:36 for a male elite. 2:09:14. Although probably only a couple men in the world capable of that.
