What is a comparable standard in the 800?
1:20 + age?
1:40 at 20 = impossible
1:45 at 25 = world class
1:50 at 30 = hack open runner
1:55 at 35 = strong sub-masters
2:00 at 40 = elite masters
2:10 at 50 = elite M50
2:20 at 60 = elite M60

I'm 55 and 55 for me at 400 is impossible, but 2.15 for 800? That's nowhere near as difficult.

I think this may be more rare than a 4-minute mile. looks like around 1400 ppl have done that, I'm betting less have accomplished this.
It's an interesting question and an inspiring challenge for any runner over the age of forty something?
