I agree. I will be shocked if she doesn't follow fellow Iowan, Shelby Houlihan.

Her coaches are idiots. They asked too much of her. What is the point of this double? Selfish motive by greedy coaches, simply job security and recruiting purposes.

I get her running form seems to work against her. This might also reveal how mentally tough she is. Basically it works for her and she has had great success.

Sometimes athletes focus on changing things(tiger woods) and the change gets in the way of simply doing what you do best - run hard and fast. Fixing mary cains arm swing didnt really pay off either.

I do hope she can gradually become more efficient. Weird how now people focus on her running form when she loses but not when she wins. It hasnt prevented her from

Regarding her stride, she’s not as fluid as most, but it works for her. One thing I’ve noticed - she appears to have a posterior pelvic tilt as she runs, and leans back slightly in her posture. At what point do you decide things like that are/aren’t worth fixing, especially when the runner is so successful? Everyone is built differently, and our strides are all unique because of that.

Naw, they have to fix that. It's a hitch, plus her aggressive arm swim and carriage. Then her head tilts when she struggles. Mary Keitany does the same thing, which is usually a sign that the runner is in trouble.

It's something really attractive about her, but I like odd looking woman, and she has a real personality. She does not come off as airy or out of touch.

Yeah, it is about running. But we have eyes and there is nothing wrong with complimenting someone on their looks. As long as it is not overboard and tasteless.

She is a nice looking woman, and has a solid personality to back it.

Instead of an NCAA championship, she got an NCAA championship (another one) and a 3rd. Her coaches are real idiots.

Strategies that result in more points for the team are selfish because they help the coach's career and help with recruiting.

Why don't you ask Karissa whose idea it was to double at NCAAs? Hint: It wasn't her coaches' idea.

She certainly isn't devastated now. A great way to end her career. I wonder if we will have to wait until she is on the track next week to see what uniform she is wearing.
