all joking aside. aint that the truth? All these athletes saying they don't take PED's, but they take things to help recover from injury or just to recover. these folk know darn well that the real benefit of drugs is the speeding of recovery, not the building of muscle.
What no one noticed was the session he did at South Eugene about 45 minutes after the Pre Classic Bowerman mile. 4x800 @ 1:52, 1:52, 1:53, 1:49 low. Looked easy, and he took at the most 2 laps jog rest.
