Hello speaker of truth you talk about something being overhyped but you should first take a look at your name, very overhyped. Secondly Brooks sucks. Name one good brooks athlete aside from Nick Symmonds and he cant even climb mountains. If you want to wear a good shoe and not be lame wear the Pegasus and you will see your life take a huge turn in the right direction.

get the vomeros or structure 21s both treated me like a god although 21s have started to lose it so going to get another pair.

I just bought the Pegasus 35 and I like them. Compared to the 34 the 35 felt better running whereas the 34 felt better just walking or standing. The 35 has a better ride

But take note, the Pegasus Turbo will be out at the end of summer and I have to say they are better than anything I’ve tried. Super fast, comfortable and versatile. Long runs, tempos, road and trail. They combine the new Nike Zoom technology into a normal shoe like the Pegasus. A hybrid of you will. Tested them awhile back.

But do you think the turbos are worth a $60 premium? Also does the zoom X make them really squishy?

For me the turbos are worth the premium. If they were out currently, I would have bought them over the Peg 35 no question. I usually only spend ~$100 on shoes so that’s saying something.

Once the Turbos drop in price due to time, I plan to stock up and have it be my shoe for as long as I can.

I would say the Turbos are firmer than the Peg 35 that I now wear. The zoom X tech seems to be more rigid rather then soft, in order to give that energy return. Too soft would absorb impact and not give that unique bounce.

I grabbed the zantes a while back and they are decent but not my fav so i never really wore them much. Just continued with my pegasus 34s instead. The 34s are too worn for use now so i replaced them with the 35 a couple of weeks ago. I am currently doing most of my running in the zantes that i never wore now. For me the 35 just kind of... Missed. They feel clunky or something. I force myself to wear them sometimes hoping they will come around but no luck so far.

The fit on a Ghost 10 and either Pegasus could't be more different. Some have talked about the weight of the Pegasus (>10 oz) as being a factor and the Ghost is over 10 oz. Some have mentioned the high heel to toe drop of the Pegasus. Ghost is one of the highest (12 mm). The Ghost has a much more generous fit (especially in the toe box) and the Pegasus will run more narrow. Try them both on and you'll be able to instantly tell the difference. I find that a good fraction of the high schoolers don't yet have the width in the feet that the adults do, and may be better in a shoe that is more narrow (like the Pegasus, or the Brooks Levitate which is a pretty heavy shoe itself and maybe more than you need). The Ghost could end up feeling sloppy on a narrow foot. Bottom line: try them both on.

pegasus 34 was 10.1 oz. new pegasus 35 is 9.5 or so. They definitely feel lighter to me and less clunky than what the peg used to be.

The pegasus 35 feels more snug than the 34. I was a bit worried at first. They feel great running and not too small at all. The mesh upper stretches nicely and the bootie feels good to me.

Go and try an Adidas shoe, much better. The Boston Adizero is light and can be worn for all your training, but if you want more cushion you can try the supernova. I only wore the Pegasus before I started in Adidas and I will never go back ( for a lot of reasons but number one is I’ve been totally injury free since I switched to Adidas shoes).

Kind of torn between trying the new peg 35 and the Boston 7. I’m using the Boston 6, but have retired the peg 33 w/ no problems from either. (The elite 9 gave me Achilles issues) At 130/5’6” and a midfoot striker, you think the Boston 7 has enough forefoot cushioning?

I’m a midfoot striker too, 5 9 and 140. I do my long runs in supernovas but everything else in the Boston. I’m not 100% sure I need the supernova’s, I probably don’t, but I had tibia issues in the past so I do it out of paranoia, plus I like them.

I’ll probably go w/ the Boston 7. A little less shoe than the peg. I do notice the boost somewhat more on my Boston 6 on anything below 7:30.

Before the Pegasus 34, my daily running shoe was the Adidas Supernova, and it just never worked for me. I don't know why, but they always felt clunky and too firm. I was expecting more from the Boost, but it never happened. I don't know if it's just how I run, or something else.

Switched from the Mizuno Wave Inspires to the Pegasus today.

Good Lord the pegs feel amazing. So glad to get out of a clunky stability shoe.

I also tried the Lunarglides but they had too much support around the arch and hurt even when walking.

I think it all depends on what you are used to and what you are switching from.

I did try the Epic Reacts and the Pegs felt better to me.

I only notice hot feet and blisters below 7:30 in my Boston's.
