The toebox obsession is a typical hobbyjogger thing that started after the "Born to run" madness. If you read shoe reviews from slower runners or post on something like "Running shoe geeks" on FB, one of the most common complaints is that the toebox is too narrow. That´s because we now haw a generation of hobbyjoggers who don´t know what a running shoe should feel like. It´s not a pair of bedroom slippers. This "wide toebox" stupidity was one of the worst things to come out of the minimalist movement.
