This is exactly what I was getting at. To the guy who wants me to spell out what the black power salute stood for, what it was associated with for most Americans, the easiest thing to do would be to google Stokely Carmichael. I never said Norman didn't talk to the 2 Americans about his action, but he sure didn't give the lack power salute. I think there's good reason that he didn't.

I sure understand why the black population of this country should be pissed off as all hell... but the Black Power movement was NOT about equality.
We should not glorify those associated with an explicitly violent movement. Build a Martin Luther King Jr. statue instead.
