You all complain if an athlete is too private (Rupp), and now you complain if an athlete makes an attempt to "be out there." I think Gwen is great, good for the sport, and I like her YouTube channel.

She’s an Olympic gold medal winner and was dominant on the tri tour. She has a masters degree in accounting, has a CPA and worked for E&Y. I would not worry about her ability to make a living.
If anything, I would worry about her being an overachieving neurotic type. From afar she seems like the type possibly vulnerable to eating disorders, mental breakdowns, running off a bridge, etc.

She does seem very overachieving - like if the marathon wasn't an option, she'd want to win a medal in something else for the challenge. I don't think she's oversharing or overexposed - she seems like a normal mom/athlete. It's a refreshing change from the Instagram thots out there.

fixed it for you, don't think overachieving will be a problem for you though

Forget about the crazy "olympic gold" goal, or her awkwardness in interviews. My question is: why does she always post picture of her son Stanley to get the big likes on instagram? After all, her son hasn't certainly chosen to become an instagram super star. And they're not just family pictures, she's playing a lot the "mum card" to get attention and justify her average performance.
What's worse is making a post on letsrun just to get comments about someone else's life.
What is even worse is making a post on letsrun about another post on letsrun.

I'm sure she will appreciate your psychological advice and take it into consideration.

Can you show me where I offered her advice? Are you confusing the word advice with the word opinion?

Your insult attempt failed. Do better.
100% wrong - she prides herself on eating a full healthy diet and making sure her body works properly. She posted on twitter recently about not missing a period over the past 4+ years aside from her pregnancy despite the heavy work load. I'd be interested to know the % of Female D1 collegiate runners who routinely miss theirs. i'd guess it's very very high. I wouldn't call her neurotic at all. I'd call her a disciplined, focused, well prepared athlete.

I think she should be careful about eating too many oranges. I know, I know, oranges are really good and everything, and have vitamin C, but you have to eat some other things, too. Like maybe an apple sometimes, and some kale.

Yes, every single person of this type is extremely disciplined, focused and well prepared. To a fault. Conscientiousness to a fault. That's the point. You understand this, right?
Also, it may or may not manifest as an eating disorder
Also, I'm just making an observation on her personality type based on what I see and know. I never claimed that she is or is not. I said she seems like the might possibly be the type. There are indicators. It's a real thing. You understand this distinction, right?
Im perfectly fine with all the exposure she wants to give me. I find her to bea very attractive runner and she has s good story. So what woukd you do yo build your brand as an olympic medalist and now marathoner, mom and fine looking woman?
You're wrong
Everything is Stanley. I get it that these athletes now have family. Cool. But We do not follow them because they have the ability to make children... any and every white trash goon can make kids. News flash: we follow you because you are great athletes, not because you can fuse a sperm and egg, which takes zero skill, training, or ability..
This is a common problem of athletes who become parents. they get lame AF. I unfollowed all Gwen's social media. Michael Phelps too. same problem. Just go away and be with your family. We are not interested..
Who is the "we" in your post?

"We" = common sense.
I do wonder if she'll be able to handle the high mileage Schumacher will assign her. 80 mpw is very different from 100-120. I don't know if I'm just going off her frame or what but she seems like a likely candidate for a stress fracture. Hope I'm wrong.
This is the first time I've ever read anyone complain about Gwen Jorgensen. My only conclusion can be that the OP is rather deficient in humanity, maturity, decent and intelligence. You see that here from time to time.

Lol, sure buddy.
If you don't get what Gwen and Pat are doing with their media, you're not their target audience. Simple as that.
