I bandited 12 miles of the HM course, so she must have passed me.
Anyway, older gent here (50+) and split 1:32 for HM along the way, and race at 1:18. So 1:19 for KG = 1:05 for the real deal!? (point is, people read way too much into these things)/bet 1:19 is about MP pace for her right now.

Indoor was like 4:40 and 9:25 3k but I was in a base phase.

This thread wasn't sarcasm or making fun of her time. I legitimately wondered if she quit running but this shows she's still running and not injured anymore.

Not racing them, I feel really relaxed. Once I get to a certain point I just settle into a zone where it feels better when I go faster. We (my team) usually close with the last two miles around 6:00 flat, sometimes faster.
Why don't you reserve judgement until I'm not dealing with an injury (back half of xc) and not in a base phase, and we can talk once I put down an outdoor time. Good?

she threw down a couple of 1:11's right before the Oly trials/Rio right where she went 2:30 in those insane conditions
Just guessing she would be around 1:15 right now fitness wise?
so coming within 5 minutes of that means this was a solid effort no? but not a race. Something like MP for her now.
