Whether overweight or not- Walking 26.2 miles is the same as a "cyclist" taking forever to walk his bike & calling it a cycling feat. I also hate when an "ironman" walks the entire run portion. Maybe I can hump the bench & claim to have bench pressed.

I wish people would take it more seriously and lose the chunk before they slow jogged/walked a 5 or 6 hour marathon. I'm way more impressed by a slim fit person who only occasionally runs than a fatty who does marathons.

I am more impressed by a slim unfit person than a fit fat person who can beat the slim unfit person in a marathon competition.
Getting slim is harder than gettinng fit.
