Makwala 's coach just spoke live on BBC. He stated that he has not received effective communication from the IAAF, and they are still trying to get some type of medical documentation or certificate, as well as testing, regarding the matter.
He also stated that Makwala DID NOT pull himself out of the 200m race, and that it was the IAAF that banned him from the event. So the IAAF lied, and the media reported that lie. HE WAS EVEN WARMING UP IN THE STADIUM!!!
fock this...this is the final straw. IAAF is dirty as FOCK, and will always protect who they favor - that goes for drug testing as well.

I don't believe they are trying to protect WVN as they need the interest of a close race and rivalry to raise the profile of athletics at the moment. There is something more sinister at play here.

The Impression I'm getting is that Makwala may have never actually had the virus. He looked great in the 400m semi the day before, and was reportedly warming up for the 200 before being denied his entry to the race. Now the blocked him from the stadium today as well. I hope he goes and breaks coe's neck, and blows up then entire IAAF. Ok not that extreme, but really, the fact that the Iaaf still controls the sport is sad.
Coe interviewed on NBCSN but they did not address it with him.

NBC is awful. Their coverage is shockingly bad, and if you only watched Olympic sports on their channel, you would think that America is the world and everyone else is just there. The commentators they hire 99% of the time have no knowledge of the sport there talking about and just ramble their feelings instead commentating.

The Iaaf is treating Wayde like bolt obviously. I'm not even sure Wayde knows this is going on though. He's probably just focusing on his race, and seeing the way he has preformed over the past 2 years, he lives on competition. He defiantly doesn't want this. If Makwala can't show up, I really hope Wayde announces he'll give Makwala a chance for the medal at the diamond league final, as he defiantly knows Makwala is his biggest threat.
The list of reasons why this sport is doomed grows longer every day.

They are creating an environment where a really ill athlete is going to lie and expose people.
I had norovirus once. Vomited every half hour for a whole night and felt like death the next day. If this guy genuinely had it and only threw up once I am impressed…
