Blake is on his way up but these people are poor bets to beat Bolt.
When Bolt gets into shape, 9.8 is still easily doable for him after the rounds. He is dangerous. It's not all about times, Coleman has run fast this year but Bolt wasn't the fastest man last year and still took home the double.
I've said it before, the championship element is SO desperately underappreciated on Letsrun.
De Grasse just won Canadian 100 trials and hasn't indicated he *won't* run the 100...
Gatlin is running 9.9s. He is not going to be in low 9.8x shape for london. I give him 9.86 as ceiling this summer.
Coleman hasn't been able to replicate his Eugene fake times.
De Grasse and Blake are the only athletes with chances for sub 9.80, and I say 9.80 because Bolt is going to be in 9.7x shape for London.
People forgets that Bolt is struggling badly with 10.06/10.03 times.

He is allowed to run in " Green Lane". Check out the Rio 200m, pumping arms like crazy and yet no speed. The Sports is filled with Dictators.

oh my gosh were you one of those who also said Gatlin would beat him in Beijing, AND in London, AND went home DEVASTATED? TWICE?
leave Bolt alone... he for sure is more of an entertainer that rules-breaching Gatlin or any other current sprinter; this sport will certainly miss a 3x Oly, WC star.

Gatlin ran 9.9...as I sald. His basic was 9.88. As I said (his ceiling)...Im happy with his gold. I didnt imagine the Gold in 9.92. I was Wrong (Is my surname)
Coleman didnt run 9.82 (because 9.8 in Hayward is 9.9 in Europe)...but he is excellent running in rounds. He impressed me.
AndI failed miserably with Bolt and Blake. 9.9s when I predicted 9.7x for Bolt and 9.8x for Yohan
De grasse is injured. But seeing the results, he was good enough to win the gold I think.
Note: I predicted Bosse winning gold in other topic, thats something at least.
