How badly is Ossoff going to lose the special election in Georgia's 6th District?

I live in district (Dunwoody) and generally vote Democrat. I voted Ossoff in the first round.

I did not vote this round. Why? I've received over 20 calls and 10 text messages from all over the USA asking me to vote for Ossoff, all since 5/28.

My mailbox has been full of useless fliers daily for months.

Every tv commercial has been a political ad for months.

It's an election system out of control. While I don't want Handel to win, I'm not willing to do anything (vote) to stop it. I'm completely over the process.

Handel has zero chance to win. Zero. I know Congressional elections better than anyone.

betting odds are moving sharply in handel's favor. 58 cents for her. that's a reversal - used to be 58 cents for Ossoff.

If the GOP candidate wins it means nothing.

If the Dem candidate wins it means A LOT.

This district has been red since 1979. My math skills tell me that's a very long time.

it doesn't mean nothing if a GOP candidate wins

the district was basically a draw trump vs hrc. if the dems can't move that needle at all in this race, it's a bad sign.

it means the repubs in conngress will move closer to trump

it means the dems will move the left in many places, saying ossoff's moderation is not a motivator.

Yeah...I think it is very telling for both parties. Assuming all was on the up and up with the presidential election (still to be determined), one of the reasons Trump won was because he motivated typically apathetic voters (non-voters) to turn out to vote for him.

I'm interested. I am certainly not desperate. Trump is a horrible person, and Paul Ryan has shown to have no integrity, but our nation will survive them. The only thing I'm desperate for right now is some Whit's Frozen Custard, but that will wait until later.
