3-on-3 basketball added to the 2020 Olympics. Who's the best to rep America?

Seems weird to add another event for a sport who's talent pool is so lopsided towards one country. Im still down though, should be entertaining

I don't get why they are trying to appeal to youth. I think the youth can appreciate the olympcs when it's special. They won't appreciate it if there are sports no one has heard about.

I heard they are cutting 100+ track athletes. Does anyone know how? Are the axing an event or just making the standard harder??

I saw a release from the IAAF. Cannot figure out where the cuts will come from, but they could raise the standards and remove the wildcard or solidarity invites and easily cut down. Eliminate the allowance that every country gets 1 competitor in some event if no one from that country qualifies. The idea was to grow the sport or spread the Olympics, but I doubt either was helped by the slowest 200m runner finishing DFL.

Dont fhe NBA guys sort of whine when their summer includes the Olympics? So I doubt any of the regular ball guhs want to go through the qualifying for 3v3 also. Also, are there really enough national 3v3 organizations to petition being an Olympic sport. Obviously so, but who knew. Moo
