She will want a cosmetic surgeon to do the stitches in order to have a much smaller and less visible scar so it won't impact future flexibility of the area. Regular doctors stitch like a grandma quilting a blanket and leave big scars.

In college, I tripped on a sidewalk on campus while running and my face landed on a wood contractor stake that was sticking out of the ground. I'm very thankful they had a plastic surgeon do the stitches.

OK, I didn't really get the severity until seeing the image a 1:44 of the video. Jay-zus Christo!

Brenna was interviewed on a BYU sports show this morning. She earned 13 stitches, of which 6 were taken out on Wednesday.The last stitches are being removed today by her dad, who is an E.R. doctor. She is looking forward to coming back and qualifying for Nats next year. She was only a soph this year.
