Almost every one reads letsrun.com. It's a great place to get result. Not every one ventures into the message boards.
If I were elite or a college coach I would not venture in here at all. Ever. The boards are full of want-a-bes, and has-beens (that my camp). An elite or big time coach has nothing to gain from us.

If I was an AD, I'd want my coach following the elite side of the sport. I guess one could argue that a college coach doesn't need to follow the NFL but I'd certainly think it's beneficial to have a mind that is interested in the sport - otherwise you are like a teacher using the sames lesson plans year after year.
Obviously just get a subscription to Track and Field News. Once-a-month results from meets three months prior is totally practical.

ADDITION: Even with the IP address there is know way they could figure out your name.
About 90% sure my high school distance/assistant xc coach does. Every time I post something with my times and age in it I feel like he's going to read it and the next day be like "yo i read your letsrun post"

My college coach did this. To some degree, it has probably discouraged me from posting more.
At this time of year when coaching employment is like a game of musical chairs, you better believe that college coaches are on this board reading the latest scoop on who is "In" and who is "Out".
