Usually a runner <age 40 looks just as young as any unhealthy 23 year-old college grad
& maybe parents have enough money that he doesn’t have to work?
Get a warehouse job near LA, there are signs up everywhere for these types of jobs. Be somewhat competent, and you'll land in a leadership role soon enough.
Myself, I'd work in weed whatevering in Desert Hot Springs.
Then drive your van or whatever back to BLM land nightly. Be somewhat decent, and nobody will ever bother you. Go high enough up, and the heat won't be so much an issue, and you can run forever in the hills.
Where are you going to get the money to pay for gasoline, car insurance, health insurance, groceries, running shoes/gear, and unexpected cost (like if your car breaks down)???
