If you're fast enough its easy. If you're not, its a struggle. The question is if you can go any faster than 28 seconds.
I knew a guy who ran a 2:10 marathon
30 minute 10 K
2:01 800
60 second 400.
If you have any speed its easy. And this guy was a rankled marathon guy back in the day. He just had no speed.
I'd rather see you running reps at 25 - 26.
In college we used to run 10 X 300 with 45 seconds between. 300 m indoor track - tartan. 35 for the last one, and no slower than 38 - 40 for all.
Speed is key. You need to demonstrate it.
This is obviously a test to see exactly how gullible the LR community is.
