Look. The individual qualifiers aren't a big deal as any coach can count down to 4 based off the projected teams. What's hard to do is to figure out the 2 at large people - which I've done - they don't even acknowledge there are two.

They clearly just missed a person there. I had done the same thing in the Midatlantic region until someone emailed me.

In XC you can "play" more than one team at a time. If 31 is the safe number to put on the line than do it. If you could run all 300+ at the same time do it. It's a foot race, not a track with lanes.

More teams the better. Let the runners sort it out themselves. That what I love about this sport.

I hate the A team B team thing. Perhaps they just need 2-3 "regular season" meets where it counts no matter who you run.
