No, that is how sweating works. What I said is correct. The problem is your poor reading comprehension. I did not say you don't sweat in easy efforts. I said the amount of sweat is dependent on the amount of effort. So in your scenario, you would sweat just simply sitting in 100 degrees. If you were exercising in 100 degrees, then you would sweat more.

He went from 1:45-1:42.high. It's not that insane, just good training. He wasn't doing much in high school, 20-30 miles a week and ran 4:11. That shows immense talent. Then go to Akron and now he's doing about 60-70 miles a week and I bet it's a lot more specific then things he did in high school. Crazy speed too, 45.xx relay leg, so he just had to develop his aerobic base more.

She's not just a 14:12 runner. I'll bet she's a 14:02 runner. Like I said before, tempo run. Also, I agree that there is no evidence Ayana has doped and unfair to toss her on the cover of an article about suspicion. PR has generated more evidence and raised more suspicion through evidence than this girl. The suspicion surrounding Ayana is all circumstantial or racial profiling -- her country, where testing is poor; her speed, which is incredible; and her skin tone. Nevertheless, this young woman is fast. The previous 10K record was weak when you compare it to the 5K, HM, and marathon. She brought it in line. She was already running at the 5K WR pace. Somebody posted she has run several times within 5 seconds of it.

As for me, I'm DEFINITELY watching the 5000m final. Not going to give up on the opportunity to see a WR, although this time I would be surprised if the field doesn't make her go alone.

i know ill be watching it,just to see what she can do.whether or not she runs 14 minutes flat depends on how much the 10'000 world record took out of her,and also the heat,in rio.if she doesnt break the world record,she'll go damn close.i like watching her run,because she goes all out,fast all the way.

Whatever they take now it certainly doesnt work as well as whatever, Flo Jo, the Chinese and East Europeans/ Soviets were taking in their particular doping dynasties. Lots of those records still stand. Even with all the advancements we have in training, tracks and nutrition. What the hell were they using back then.

We are from a country with a principle of innocent until proven guilty. This is, until proven otherwise, a Bekele-like rare runner of extreme talent and determination. The 10k now lines up with the marathon and likely 5k records based on adjustment charts. Remember 10k races are rare, and finally they rand and raced both (unlike the 1500). Weather was near ideal. You have to think Huddle is super-doping too in all this. But she also had a chance at the rarely-run 10k and went for it. Voila! The 5000 will be amazing to watch. Enjoy your TV silence.

Please stop saying this. We have no such principle. (Those of us from the USA anyway).

"Innocent until proven guilty" is reserved for the Criminal Justice System, period. That's it. We don't use it making employment decisions, we don't use it for choosing friends ... we don't even use it for our Civil Justice System.

Why don't we? Because it would be ridiculous to use Innocent Until Proven Guilty broadly and generally. It's certainly ridiculous, to use it with anonymous using on a silly message board.

Almost correct. Officials basically allow a free-for-all if you're E. African, Caribbean, or from certain Politically Approved Latin American countries, Cuba being a prime example. Brazil of course is approved. If you're a paleface from the US, Europe, or Japanese, Chinese, Korean, you will be tested - for real.

Bekele like? So she's doped to the gills like Kenenisa. KB was one of the worst offenders in history when it comes to doping. Also one of the best responders to drugs, which is part of the battle.
