That excuse doesn't work because
1) She is 26, which isn't *that* young.
2) Lots of other female runners don't act like that, but of course some do (and are also annoying)
3) the old "if everybody jumped off a bridge" thing.

This was a good performance for Pappas though. However, Pappas isn't competitive.
