she isnt expected to, but as stated she didnt need to run really close to her PR to win. Im sure she will be disappointed in this. It is worth pointing out that her PR was 2 seconds better than the rest of the field (both 1st and 2nd are 405 girls), and the 3rd/4th place finishers did in fact PR in the final. It was a bad day, and unfortunately for her it came at the worst time.

..and her two older sisters were All-American at Notre Dame, Chuck's alma mater. Sometimes the youngest is the best, following in their footsteps. She is also an excellent gymnast. Great core and muscle balance. Interesting to see what happens when she starts to specialize.

Billings' Christina Aragon wins bronze medal in 1500 at World Junior Championships

When the menopausal granny from Ethio passed Alexa, she lost heart, due to the Old Lady Smell wafting from the aforementioned senior citizen. Fortunately, Christina grabbed the flag and held off the XY from Kenya for some hardware. As long as Ethiopia keeps those wizened pensioners in their own land, away from the NCAA, Christina should clean up in the collegiate ranks, at least until Kate Murphy shows up.

I hope Stanford does do well, but over at least the last ten years injuries and defections have been plentiful on the women's side.
