For me the tough running of Ben Saarel in his qualifying 1500 meter when he earned the "Rig of the Meet."

I liked both steeples.
The women's 100 could end up being faster than the Olympic final. 10.74/10.78/10.78 is no joke. All the rounds of the men's 200 were exciting with Lyles and Norman collecting scalps, and Gatlin's run out of lane 8 to hold off a closing Merritt was really impressive.
The men's 5000m was the most entertaining race. That thing played out like it was a Tour de France stage.
Women's steeple was another test of guts.
Definitely 100m hurdles. this is probably the event that is deeper than the olympic final and all the girls are great.
Since I only watched NBC, there wasn't alot. But the women's 1500, fan of Jenny, and the Brenda suspense
Women's PV - 6 ladies over 460 and we ended up with a fantastic team of the best two in the field coming off of injury and looking great and a future huge star true freshman who PRed twice on the day.
Pretty much all the track races were fantastic. On the distance side, the women's steeple had the most exciting finish and the men's 5000 was one of the most entertaining 12.5 lappers I've watched. I loved the m400 h with Clement actually looking smooth over the final 2 barriers for once.
The men's 10000. I loved the pace shifting that Rupp did. It was way more entertaining than the usual sit and kick crap.

This too. I wonder if he would do this in olympics or content to be a rabbit for farah
Devon Allen in the Men's 100 hurdles. 13:03 is outstanding, especially when he plays football.
This puts the women's 1500 over the top for me. Incredible to watch it live.
20km racewalk obviously
M Steeple Final -- Donn had one of the gutsiest races I've ever seen. At least from a viewer's perspective, he makes himself hurt more than anyone else. Looked toast with 800 to go, if not sooner, but just kept pressing a bit more every 10m, until he caught a break on the last water jump, which he capitalized on.

In one year I will only remember the women's 800.
agreed. it was the defining race of the trials. it's hard to call it my "favorite" because it was so ugly but it was definitely the race i got the most invested in and shocked by.
It's gotta be the men's 5000m. Only because a few days before, Bernie was laid out on the track, looking like his career might be over. Flash forward to the 5000 final, and he's unleashing a scorching last 400 to come from behind and win it in glorious fashion. It was probably the most amazing live race I've ever seen. Too add to it, in all the years I've watched track and field, I've never seen Lagat celebrate a race like he did that one. He was legitimately emotional and wound up over it, which showed just how special it was for him. That, for me, really drove home the point of how special of a race it was.
