Amanda Eccleston. misses the team by .03. She was obviously devastated but still classy in her post race interview.

+2. That dude lost a lot of fans this weekend, including myself. Stick to running, dude.
And he gained fans too.
Suck it.
A few but someone who may not have been mentioned is Abbey D’Agostino. She had some tough breaks prior to the trials. She also needs a good coach.
I didn't, I enjoyed

About Jordan
Hasay started running in elementary school, and she quickly gained acclaim around the nation as the fast young girl with the long blond ponytail. Hasay started by rewriting the Junior Olympic record books and quickly moved on to winning USA Junior championships and making international teams for youth and juniors. In 2008, Hasay ran in the 1500m finals of the Olympic Trials as a high school junior, and in 2009 she graduated as one of the most decorated high school distance runners of all-time. Running for the University of Oregon, Hasay recorded nine top-three finishes at the NCAA track & field championships. After graduating, Hasay joined Alberto Salazar’s Oregon Project and qualified for her first senior world team in the 10,000m
You realize that is why he was saying she went home devastated? People who are barely sneaking to their first trials don't go home devastated, they go home excited just to have been there.
She made it based off scratches
Johnny Dutch in the Mens 400 hurdles.

Agree, nice finish to watch. Over and over
No one is going to mention Ryan Hill? A world medalist just a few months ago that didn't even make it out of the trials.
How about the entire Brooks Beasts team, except for Jeremy Taiwo. They freaking couldn't put ONE runner on the Olympic team (and if anyone here thinks Danny Mackey knows a thing about pole vaulting, long jumping or any other event in the decathlon except the 1500, I've got some prime Florida Everglades real estate to sell you).

WHO MOST DEVA? wrote:
I say Chris Engels and Ben True. It's a toss up.
Did you mean Craig Engels and are you joking? I spoke with Engels after the 800 and he was pretty happy. 4th in the 800 and 5th in the 1500 is quite the meet for someone who was only 7th at NCAAs.
But yeah, tough meet for Ben True. I was hoping he'd make it.
I stayed home most devastated. All my predictions were way off for two long weeks.
Happy I'm posting anonymously.
I'd say Letsrunners were most devastated.
A bunch of athletes made the Olympic team and weren't busted for drugs or DQed and seemed really happy. Devastating.
I was so disappointed watching Riley run this week. First he scrapes into the finals on time- when he should have been a shoe-in to make it in on place. Then he just decides to go for an easy jog during finals, closing his last lap 21 seconds slower than some middle-aged guy someone told me was called "Bernie" or something. My theory is he saw some cute girl in the crowd after/during the trials, and proceeded to lose a lot of sleep following her home and doing "easy mileage" around her house. Assuming she had curtains on her bedroom window, I'd say he's the most devastated.
Has to be Nikeman. Dude is going home married.

I don't like to wallow in someone else's grief.
I had to stop watching the Mackey and Uceny interviews because I really like both of them and their grief re: not making the team was so obvious.
I particularly feel for Uceny. She's got a lot of talent and heart. She's had a lot of bad luck.
I went home most devastated. Failed to run a sub 24 downhill 5k and shat my pants halfway
