Name a better shoe from Brooks for neutral runners than the Pegasus or Elite.
Name a better flat from Brooks than the Streak LT or Lunarspiders.
Name a better spike from Brooks than the Nike equivalent for ANY event.

Notice the Nike guy picks on Brooks, a hobby brand unknown to 97% of the world.
Actually the lunar forevers are better than the Pegasus etc But the Adidas Tempo 7 Boost, Saucony Kinvaras and Mirage are better than the nikes.
The ST Racers aren't that bad. But the Adidas Adios 2, N.B. RC 5000, Saucony Fastwitch, Hoka Clifton's, Mizuno wave universe 4, the list just goes on and on.
Isn't the Brooks PR 2??? an identical copy of the zoom kennedy?
Personally, the Best spikes are the NB 5000 and the Saucony LD4s, for training spikes Adidas is way better Nike. Isn't it funny that Nike's own running stars of the past 15 years (El G, Ken B., MO, Rupp, Centro) have had vastly different spike plates on their shoes then what they sell to the general public, why? Because they can't train or race in them!! People should also look at the Puma Evo speed Harumbees, lots of fast times have been run in them.

1) Launch
2) Neither company is great. Lunaracers were okay for training and I still use them from time to time. Otherwise Saucony has the best flats.
3) Brooks Mach series is the best XC spike on the market. NB has the best track spikes. I haven't used Nike spikes since HS. Victory & Matumbo are/were terrible.
Trainers are great but high jump, long jump and PV shoes are what I meant from Track and field specific.
