Free Feuer now!!!!
As someone who has known Tom Feuer and worked with him on a number of PAC-12 Track and Field meets, I have to agree with everything said about his knowledge, enthusiasm, and love of the sport. Tom's encyclopedic knowledge of track and field never ceases to amaze me. And his infectious enthusiasm is contagious among everyone who works on the crews. He truly is great to work with.

That's good to hear from someone who knows him better than us. I'd actually pay good money to watch/listen to this guy live stream the Olympic track and field events. He's a breath of fresh air in the broadcasting world. Hopefully BBC comes through.
he did a solid job, understated, but let's not compare this to the announcing of the Brits, who make it excited while knowing their stuff and having great track credentials.
TF is the only NBC announcer to mention the reality that Merritts 200/400 double had more of a possibility of a positive outcome than Choles Moms double attempt does.
Mr. Mark Wolfson,
Thanks for posting and please pass on to Mr. Feuer our congratulations on doing an excellent job of commentating on the Track & Field at the U.S. Olympic Trials during the digital-only broadcasts (perhaps forward to him a link to this message thread!)...I truly enjoyed the coverage and was impressed by his comprehensive knowledge of the sport. I also enjoyed the color commentary by Dan O'Brien. My only suggestion would be to mention his own name more often so it would not be necessary to google to find out who did such a terrific job of commentary, and perhaps to keep the digital-only broadcast going as an alternative to watching NBC's coverage because it was far superior. I appreciated getting to see wire-to-wire uninterrupted coverage of the distance running events instead of going to break and coming back from the break with 600 meters to go like NBC.
